Catch an event that happens once

Freeze a single button press, power-on or glitch on the screen.

  1. Set the trigger Mode to Normal, so the screen only changes when the event happens.
  2. Choose the Edge: Rising for a signal that goes up, Falling for one that goes down.
  3. Set the Trigger level between the signal’s resting voltage and where it goes during the event.
  4. Set the time per division to suit how long the event lasts.
  5. Press Single and make the event happen. The scope captures it and stops.

Missed it? While stopped, the History bar under the screen steps back through the last 100 captures.
