Set up an Arduino Uno

Upload the scope's sketch to an Arduino Uno and connect it.

The Uno’s input is A0 and its test signal is on pin 9: a square wave at about 490 Hz. Its input accepts 0 V to 5 V.

The Uno reads sine waves best below 800 Hz and square waves below 400 Hz; what it reads at other speeds is in Accuracy and limits.

The same steps are in the scope’s Sketch window when you choose this board, with the sketch to copy or download.

Steps

  1. Install the Arduino IDE if you do not have it.
  2. Copy the sketch from this window into a new sketch, or download it and open it.
  3. In the IDE, choose the board Arduino Uno and its port, then press Upload.
  4. Close the IDE’s Serial Monitor if it is open. Only one program can use the port at a time.
  5. Press Connect, and choose the Uno in the window the browser opens.
