Watch a measurement over minutes or hours

Chart a frequency, voltage or duty cycle over time, and save the log.

  1. Start the signal and press Run.
  2. Press Trend. The window charts one measurement from every capture.
  3. Choose the Measurement: frequency, peak to peak, mean, RMS or duty cycle. The distortion figures (THD, SNR, SINAD, SFDR, ENOB) are logged while Distortion is on under Spectrum.
  4. Leave it running. The window gives the number of readings, how long it has been logging, and the minimum, mean, maximum and standard deviation.
  5. Press Save CSV in the window to keep the log for a spreadsheet.

Ideas: a battery voltage running down, a clock drifting as it warms up, a motor’s speed under load.
